I would like to ask following question: I sent copies of my diploma along with other pertinent documents to ECFMG more than 2 weeks ago and have not heard from them yet. How does it work from now on? My school DOES participate in the EMSWP - will ECFMG request the verification through this portal or will they send the documents by post? And again, after my school recieves the credentials from ECFMG for verification, will they confirm their validity through EMSWP or will they have to send anything by post?
I am a little confused about the role of EMSWP in the verification process.
Is there any chance that I would be ECFMG certified by September 15 (I have finished all Steps, so the verification of credentials is the last thing i am waiting for)... Does anybody have experience with sending their diploma in the mid July and being certified by Sept 15?
