credentials verification

I was sending the photocopy of my diploma for verification and asked the ecfmg personnel wether it should be attested or signed by the school official, he said no need and told to justend the photocopy.

i read some previous posts in the forum that the photocopy should be signed and sent...

anyone has experience in this?

actually my medical school is far from my place of residence, so i was just planning to send the photocopies myself
