I am Med Student in México. I have DUAL NATIONALITY, mexican nationality and US nationality.
I have done the Authentication Process on the ECFMG web site and I already have my ECFMG/USMLE identification number. I registered myself as a Mexican.
I've heard that it would be better if i register as a US citizen so i would like to do the authentication process again and be registered as a US citizen. I haven't submitted an application to ECFMG for any examination but I already have my ECFMG/USMLE identification number.
I would like to know if requesting for a new ECFMG ID number could be cosidered as irregular behaviour? Should I do the authentification process again with the same email or should i change it?
Is it true that it would be more beneficial in the future to do all the Steps registered as a US Citizen? or should i just keep doing all the process as a mexican?
